Docking Device

A docking device allows the wheelchair occupant to automatically secure their wheelchair with no assistance from a carer. This docking system is most suited to those driving from their wheelchair. The docking device is mounted on the floor of the vehicle and a docking pin is mounted on the bottom of the wheelchair. To operate, the wheelchair is manoeuvred over the docking device and automatically locks in place. Unlocking the device is achieved by a simple press of a button. The device has a manual backup release in the case of an unlikely power failure in the vehicle. Contact our team to find out more.
